Start of Season

Bristol City 3 - 2 Swansea (League)
Playing an attacking mentality was not a good idea away from home although we had the better chances, Adriano Basso would not let many past. da Silva came out injured for four weeks which mean that Jason Scotland and Gorka Pintado will have a chance. Rusculleda is looking a real gem of a player. Injuries to Ferrie Bodde and Angel Rangel is training meant that Alan Tate and Owain Tudur Jones stepped in.

Swansea 2 - 0 Cheltenham (League Cup)
Comfortable performance at home at home goals by Scotland and Orlandi, Orlandi collected man of the match with an all round good performance. Tudur Jones collects a knock

In other news Stephen Appiah has signed to add quality to the midfield. I feel that Garry Monk is not good enough for the championship so i will have a look at a few loan centre halfs from the premierleague.

Charlton 1 - 2 Swansea (League)
A good result away from home, Header from Garry Monk and Jason Scotland long ranged shot won us the game, may consider changing formation ro 4-4-2. The win was largley down to Nicky Bailey sending off in the 34th minute. We need to be more clinical.

Shelton Martis joins the club for 50k from West Brom as backup to the defence.

Swansea 2 - 2 Watford (League)
We were 2 nil up at half time but lost out concentration in the 75th minute, it should of been three points but Watford resiliance earned them a point. It may be time to tweak the tactics again to offer more defensive cover.

Francisco Pavon is brought in as a new centre back on a free so Garry Monk is likely to be sold to even out the wage bill.

Swansea 1 - 3 West Brom (League Cup)
Once again we conceded late to take it too extra time because of Roman Bednar Jammy header, West Brom quality on the bench won them the game but their was a promising performance by you signing Francisco Pavon. Federico Bessone scored an absoulute wonder goal from 25 yards.

Swansea 1 - 2 QPR
Another poor result with us having the better chances, we really need to press on in the next match because we are already falling behind. Goal by Sergey Krivets. We need to find some consistant form.

Norwich 0 - 1 Swansea
A great result sub Fredson coming up with the rebound and Scotland hit the bar. Taking me to just a point off the play offs. New signing Fancisco Pavon got man of the match.

Swansea 2 - 0 Sheffield United
A strong performance from my second string team, a Jason Scotland brace secured victory. We are fianlly finding some form, this is a great result agaisnt one of the championships stronger teams. This puts us in 7th place on 10 points.

Alejandro da Silva returned from injury to score twice for the reserves.

Swansea 1 - 1 Burnley
An average performace but yet another late goal conceded, we were begining to hit form, might make a few changes to starting line up but good volley by Jordi Gomez to get us the point.

Sebastian Rusculleda has been on fantastic form with 4 Assists for the club with an average rating of 7.22. Plymouth away is the next fixture and hopefully our unbeaten run will continue.
We currently hold 6th place with 11 points on the board.

Plymouth 2 - 0 Swansea
A dissapointing end to a good month which saw Jim Paterson score a brace, both his goals were free kicks and considering his free kick taking was 11, i was fairly pissed off, we could of at least got a point in the second half.

We've now dropped to 11th with 11 Points but it is important we stay in sight of the playoffs.

Swansea City: A New Era

This is my first blog so i hope you enjoy it. I have downloaded Spain Adelante and above, Italy Serie B and above, Brazil first division and England league 2 and above. I have also downloaded all players from Argentina because you can find some quality players from there.

After the resignation of Roberto Martinez, Swansea City are delighted to appoint Jack Kidd as their new manager. Kidd a former Fulham right back has been on the coaching staff at Swansea for two years and was the outstanding candidate.

In his first statement Kidd announced that he was delighted to get the job and will do everything within his ability to take the club to topflight.

I told the board that i will win promotion so they gave me a budget of 1.2 million.

The team at Swansea is already strong espicially in midfield as i will have a midfield trio of Ferrie Bodde, Jordi Gomez and hopefully Stephen Appiah. After sacking the majority of the backroom staff, Massimo Neri is appointed as assistant manager while frenchman Michel Brohan becomes physio. I also downloaded Tugs Training to get the best out of my players.

New contracts were also presented to star player Ferrie Bodde and goalkeeper Dorus De Vries. Kidd is yet to decide whether to offer striker Jason Scotland a new contract.

A really good performance but we lacked our cutting edge, could of got at least a draw from this game.

This is the end of an average preseason, the league kicks off agaisnt Bristol City away.

The sale of Darren Pratley was very good for me but look out of Sebastian Resuclleda, Sergey Krivets and Gresko they can be ruthless. I have high hopes for Paraguanian international da Silva. Resculleda and da Silva and were bought from Argentina, both are EU nationals. Fredson is a Brazilian DM who is very good and also has an EU passport while the spainish players all comes from Barcelona youth team. I'm looking to add Stephen Appiah to the squad when he returns from injury.
